Acclaimed Film “The Myth of the American Sleepover” Comes This Weekend

With the iconic style of John Hughes comes a new coming-of-age film, The Myth of the American Sleepover directed by David Robert Mitchell, in theaters this Friday, July 22nd. Chosen as the official selection for the Cannes Film Festival and the AFI Film Festival, and winner of the Best Narrative Feature Award at the New Orleans Film Festival, The Myth of the American Sleepover couldn’t be more popular. 

This film tells the story of four teens, Maggie, Rob, Claudia, and Scott searching for adventure on their last night of summer. As the group explores the suburbs of Detroit on their journey, they find meaningful moments that will last forever.
