It seems rare these days to find an action film that doesn’t rely solely or heavily on computer animation, but the new film, 5 Days of War, does exactly that. From the man who directed Die Hard 2 and The Long Kiss Goodnight, Renny Harlin, comes this film based on the five day conflict between Georgia and Russia in 2008. The film was created to be as realistic as possible, using real explosions and tanks, casting extras who experienced the conflict, and filming at locations where the fighting took place.
